I apologize for not posting about Lil Wayne's release from jail earlier (thank you Luke Canavan), but up until now there's not been much to talk about besides the fact that he is out of jail. Regardless, Weezy has blessed the internet with his first vereses since his release from prison. Its early to be making any calls about change in style, but the lyrics here are noticeably more introspective and thoughtful than those of the I am not a Human Being-era Weezy. At the same time though he is still packing hard punchlines delivered with the same raw power that has always made Wayne special. The second was taken a few days after Lil Wayne got out of jail. He surprised Drake and his audience by making an unannounced appearance at Drake's show in Las Vegas that was also Wayne's first public appearance since his release from jail. WELCOME BACK WEEZY!!
